***iPass Surpasses 1000 Active Wi-Fi Hotspots
(April 7)

iPass Inc. announced today that the company has surpassed the
1000 active Wi-Fi hotspot mark just a year after it launched its
Global Broadband Roaming (GBR) service. iPass now offers
connectivity at more than 1000 "Enterprise Ready" Wi-Fi hotspots
from 11 different network providers in 10 countries plus the
United States Virgin Islands.

iPass is focused on building out its GBR service at locations
frequented by business travelers and mobile employees. The more
than 1000 active hotspots in iPass' service include:

-- 16 major airports, including the Narita international airport
(NRT) in Tokyo, Japan; Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) in
Singapore; LaGuardia Airport (LGA) in New York, N.Y.; Dallas Fort
Worth International (DFW) in Dallas, Tex.; Minneapolis/St. Paul
International Airport (MSP) in Minneapolis, Minn.; Copenhagen
airport (CPH) in Copenhagen, Denmark; and Barajas international
airport (MAD) in Madrid, Spain.

-- More than 500 hotels including Four Seasons, Wyndham Hotels
and Resorts, Sheraton, Doubletree and Embassy Suites.

-- Hundreds of coffee shops, restaurants and Internet cafes.

Before hotspots can be integrated into the iPass global virtual
network, Wi-Fi providers must undergo testing to ensure
interoperability with virtual private networks (VPNs), personal
firewall systems and iPass policy management and enforcement
tools. Only providers that pass these tests are certified by
iPass as "Enterprise Ready" and are integrated into the iPass
virtual network.

Today iPass hotspots are available in Argentina, Australia,
Denmark, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Singapore, Spain, United
Kingdom, United States and US Virgin Islands.

iPass Inc. is a virtual network operator (VNO), iPass that offers
enterprise employees a range of Internet protocol-based
connectivity technologies, including wired and wireless broadband
service at airports, hotels and conference centers worldwide. The
iPassConnect smart client can be deployed across multiple
computing devices and operating systems within an enterprise.
