***Handspring and Orange SA Partner to Develop Smartphones
(April 16)

Handspring, a devloper of personal communications products, and
Orange SA said today they have signed an agreement to work
together in the development of future smartphones for Orange
wireless customers throughout Europe.

The companies are working together to develop business and
personal smartphone solutions that will tie into Orange back-end
network systems. Handspring and Orange plan to leverage their
respective experience in mobile user interface design and
wireless service offerings to bring new smartphone solutions to
the European market.
