***ParallelGraphics Releases Outline3D 4.0, Announces Italian
Portal
(January 23)

ParallelGraphics, a provider of Web3D graphics solutions, today
released the latest version of Outline3D (v 4.0) in conjunction
with the launch of a new Italian interior design portal based on
Outline3D technology - www.Itacabox.com.

Outline3D is a flexible 3D design service that enables furniture
suppliers, interior designers and real estate firms to present a
product range to clients over the Internet and company Intranets.
The latest version of Outline 3D introduces a simplified
installation procedure, faster interior loading, and improved
object manipulation.

To work with Outline3D 4.0, users now need only Cortona VRML
client 4.0 and the new Plan Editor (ActiveX* Control). Microsoft
Virtual Machine for Java* is no longer required. All Outline3D
components are downloaded and installed automatically and the
downloading procedure is much shorter than in earlier versions.
ParallelGraphics stated that 3D interiors (especially those
containing a lot of textures) are loaded much faster than before.
Version 4.0's new features also include the ability to edit
materials on walls, floors and furniture items, the ability to
change parameters (covers, handles, etc.) of whole furniture
suites with a mouse click, and an object search amongst others.

ParallelGraphics and Impulse Interactive (Italy) are also proud
to present a joint project based on Outline3D technology. A new
Italian interior design portal targeted at manufacturers,
retailers, and designers can be now accessed at www.Itacabox.com.

The Italian version of Outline3D is available as an online
service (ASP model). It can also be installed on a company
Intranet and its network of sales terminals can allow sales
assistants to showcase goods and services to potential clients
using a database stored on the main server.
