BOXX Technologies, a developer of digital content creation
systems for the design, entertainment and digital film
industries, today announced support for the new NVIDIA Quadro FX
graphics solutions in its series of 3DBOXX workstations.
The 3DBOXX series of AMD and Intel-based workstations are
available in single or dual processor configurations running
Microsoft Windows or Linux. 3DBOXX is designed for 3D, animation
and visualization software such as Maya, 3ds max, Softimage XS
and LightWave 3D, and CAD programs such as AutoCAD, Pro/Engineer,
and SolidWorks. The Quadro FX architecture offers 128-bit
floating-point precision, and NVIDIA states that it doubles
previous industry leading performance, as well as offers Cg
programmability for a new class of OpenGL and DirectX
applications.
