***SatCon Semiconductor Products Introduces New RF Wireless
Amplifier

SatCon Technology Corporation, a provider of power products,
today announced that its Semiconductor Products business unit
will introduce a new high speed, 5.7 gigahertz, RF Power
Amplifier for Wireless LAN applications at the Wireless Systems
Design Conference and Expo being held from February 26th to the
28th in San Jose, California.

The new amplifier is designed to support the emerging 802.11A
standard for wireless communication applications with utility and
wireless LAN point-to-point communications, automotive telematics
and a variety of other short-range wireless applications. The
amplifier offers +10dB gain, 4 watts of output power, with output
power at 1dB compression (P1) of +36dBm typical, and a price
compatible with most commercial and industrial applications.
