***Cimmetry Ships AutoVue 16 With Fast Thin-Client Native 3D
Visualization (February 5)

Cimmetry Systems, a provider of visualization and collaboration
solutions for the A/E/C, engineering, manufacturing and
electronics markets, announced today that AutoVue 16 is now
shipping. This new release brings view and markup to a new level
by providing extensive new features and numerous enhancements
including:

- AutoVue SolidModel for Java provides fast, thin-client streamed
visualization allowing users to view and collaborate on native 3D
CAD parts/assemblies, 2D CAD drawings, raster, vector and office
documents, over an intranet or the Internet, directly from a web
browser.
- Server-based metafile caching for 3D and 2D files enhances
performance.
- New format supports: JT, Inventor 5, Solid Edge 10 & 11,
Unigraphics 18, CATIA 4.2.4, Mechanical Desktop 6, MicroStation
v8 and HP-RTL.
- EDA formats supported: ODB++, Gencam, and Gerber.
- New markup functionality includes a Markup Navigation Tree
listing all markup entities in a redline file.

AutoVue supports the native visualization and markup of 200
formats including: AutoCAD, MicroStation, HPGL, CATIA,
Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Unigraphics, Inventor,
Mechanical Desktop, IGES, STEP, MS Office, TIFF, PDF and Visio.

AutoVue integrates with popular EDM/PDM and document management
systems including Documentum, FileNET, Lotus Notes/Domino,
Matrix, Open Text, DOCS, and Windchill.
