***riteMail Electronic Ink Email Deployed on All Major Handheld
and PC Platforms
(February 4)

The Pen&Internet division of Parascript today announced a beta
version of its riteMail electronic ink and mailing solution for
Palm PDAs. riteMail for Palm Handhelds is an electronic ink email
application that allows freehand drawing or writing with a
stylus, computer mouse or touchpad in a variety of styles and
colors.

Designed to take advantage of the features of Palm OS 4.0,
riteMail for Palm Handhelds integrates with the Palm address
book, allowing easy selection of a recipient's contact
information. Upcoming versions of riteMail will take full
advantage of the newly available i705 wireless PDA, as well as
Palm OS convergence phones such as those from Kyocera, Samsung
and Handspring.

riteMail also includes riteShape technology, which transforms
freehand drawn shapes into perfect ovals, rectangles, triangles,
arrows and other common figures and enables efficient and natural
charting capability. riteMail is language-independent and is
currently being used in more than 30 languages in over 60
countries.

Free beta versions of the riteMail client software for Palm OS,
Pocket PC 2000 and desktops on any platform (utilizing Java
technology) are available immediately for download at the
riteMail site. The Pocket PC 2002 and Windows CE version of the
software will be available by the end of February at the same
site. The company will be showcasing riteMail for Palm Handhelds
at the PalmSource Conference and Expo, Feb. 5-8 in San Jose, CA,
in booth #1003.
