***Quantum3D OpenGVS Optimized for AMD Athlon Processors

Quantum3D today announced that Quantum3D's OpenGVS realtime 3D
scene management software (Version 4.4.1) has been optimized for
use on AMD Athlon and AMD Athlon MP processor-based platforms.
Quantum 3D stated that AMD-optimized OpenGVS provides 3D visual
simulation and training developers with industry leading
performance, and outstanding performance for PC-based deployed
applications.

The OpenGVS 4.4.1 releases have been optimized and tested with
systems using AMD Athlon processors across a spectrum of real-
world PC-based realtime 3D application development scenarios. For
texture paging applications, the OpenGVS Large Area Database
feature, which supports both Terrex TerraPage and Multigen-
Paradigm OpenFlight formats, has been tested using dual AMD
Athlon MP processors. Quantum3D found that AMD Athlon and AMD
Athlon MP processor-based platforms meet the Company's high
standards for performance with OpenGVS.
