***Taiwan's MIC Estimates Taiwan's Output Volume of LCD Monitors
for 2001

According to Pacific Daily News, Taiwan's Market Information
Center (MIC) expects Taiwan's output volume of liquid crystal
display (LCD) monitors to reach 5.1 million monitors for 2001, up
89 percent year-on-year and accounting for 8 percent of Taiwan's
total output volume of monitors.
MIC anticipates output of color display tube (CDT) monitors to
hit 66m monitors, up 11 percent.
