A classic good news bad news story. Good news is that the public
space networking market is beginning. Japan, based on NTT's
efforts, could well be ahead of the US and Europe as it was with
the i-mode phone. What is of particular interest is the
integration of home and public space networks. The bad news is
that this is likely not an implementation which conforms to any
existing standard - be it 802.11a or HiperLAN2.
