***Taiwan TFT-LCD Association to be Established

Taiwan's TFT-LCD monitor industry has decided to set up a TFT-LCD
Industry Association, which will be known as TTLA. The
association will be a unified window for negotiating for
resources and the association will also provide information to
the government, which will aid the government in promoting the
industry. TTLA's future mission will focus on promoting
standardization and Intellectual Property rights. The
association's members will also include TN-LCD and STN-LCD
manufacturers.
