***Qubit Technology Featured in Sun Microsystems' .com Home
(January 6)

Qubit Technology, a developer of software and infrastructure
solutions allowing for wireless Internet access, had their Qubit
Wireless Web Tablet featured in the Sun Microsystems .com Home
during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Jan. 6-9, 2000. About
the size of a magazine, the Qubit device was demonstrated as both
a stand-alone unit using a cradle to provide Internet
connectivity as well as an integrated device built into a
refrigerator. As a featured software solution in Sun's .com Home
at CES, Qubit will provide an Internet platform for enabling
wireless content delivery anywhere in the home.

With Qubit any type of embedded portal or browser like America
Online and @Home can be accessed, including Java-based applets,
along with basic applications such as e-mail and address/phone
books. The Qubit has full multimedia capacity, and a touch-
controlled, high-resolution color tablet.

Installation involves plugging Qubit's cradle into a power outlet
and a phone or Ethernet jack. Everything else is handled
automatically through interaction with a remote service
provider/content aggregator. Qubit is configured to handle all
types of Internet connections, including 56K, DSL, and cable
modems.

Qubit's wireless capability lets people go online anywhere in the
house. For applications that require typing, both an onscreen
keyboard and wireless keyboard, with a remote infrared link, are
provided. The device receives any required software maintenance
automatically and remotely.

Qubit Technology was founded in 1997 with the goal of developing
hardware and software platforms for access to online services
from the home. Qubit is committed to facilitating rapid
deployment of non-PC Internet access devices leveraging existing
content aggregation and online service partners.
