***Silicon Graphics Announces Preliminary Third Quarter Results
(March 31)
Silicon Graphics announced that, based on a preliminary analysis
of its results to date for the quarter ending March 31, 1999, it
expects to report revenue in the low to mid $600 million range.
Based upon this revenue forecast, the Company now expects to
report a net loss that is $0.20 to $0.25 larger than Wall Street
expectations. The company expects to announce its actual results
for the quarter on April 22, 1999.
