***Strata Establishes Open Development Model

Strata announced a development initiative that will bring in core
technologies from industry allies and open the door for
registered developers to add functionality for its family of
products. The initiative, dubbed "DevNet3D," includes licensing
of technologies, shared development efforts with industry allies,
and opening up Strata's products to users and developers.

Strata and Spatial Technologies have agreed on a licensing and
development plan to apply Spatial's ACIS 3D modeling technology
in StudioPro. Evans & Sutherland has signed a letter of intent to
license the Strata source code. The agreement allows E&S to
utilize Strata's 3D technology.

A component of DevNet3D is the software development kit (SDK)
for StudioPro. Strata will soon make the SDK available for
download by the DevNet3D developer community. Registered
developers will gain direct access to all libraries and source
code necessary for developing extensions to StudioPro. All
developers must have internet access and be subscribed to a
dedicated development discussion list and website. An important
part of Strata's evolving business model includes an expanded and
decentralized core development team
