***Cygnus Solutions Announces GNUPro Embedded Software Technology
for Intel StrongARM Architecture

Cygnus Solutions announced the availability of its GNUPro
software technology for Intel Corporation's StrongARM
microprocessors.

Cygnus' announcement of support for the StrongARM architecture
marks the 40th microprocessor that Cygnus now supports with
GNUPro, the most complete software development toolkit available.

Cygnus' GNUPro is backed by Cygnus expertise in porting (and
maintaining) the GNU technology to more than 125 desktop and
cross-platform development environments. Cygnus drives the
majority of changes and enhancements to the GNU compiler
toolchain and runs thousands of tests to ensure that software
developers have tools that work out-of-the-box with high
reliability.

GNUPro includes ANSI-conforming C compiler, ANSI-tracking C++
compiler, the Cygnus Insight visual debugger, a macro-assembler,
linker/loader, binary utilities, libraries, and printed and
online documentation. Cygnus offers more than 100 toolchains,
including broad support for Linux, Windows NT/95 and UNIX hosted
platforms.

GNUPro Toolkit for the Intel StrongARM microprocessor family will
be available from Cygnus in the second quarter of 1999.
