***Cable Modem Service Revenues Become Reality

According to World Cable & Satellite Markets, a study by The
Strategis Group, during the next five years, cable modem service
will expand dramatically to meet the demand of residential high-
speed Internet access in most countries. The report forecasts
nearly $US 17 billion global cumulative cable modem service
revenues for 1998-2003, and nearly 20 million cable modem users
world- wide in 2003.

According to the report, during the next five years, cumulative
cable modem service revenue will nearly equal or exceed new cable
television revenue in Germany, Netherlands, Poland and several
other countries. In the U.S. and Canada, 5- year cumulative cable
modem service revenue will equal 40% to 50% of cable television
revenue.
