***Spatial Technology's introduces version 4 of ACIS Toolkit
(March 19)

Spatial Technology Inc.'s customers announced new products based
on Spatial's newly released Version 4.0 of the ACIS 3D Toolkit,
an open, component-based modeling engine. The four new ACIS 4.0-
enabled software applications include: Mechanical Desktop 3.0
from Autodesk Inc., IronCAD from Visionary Design Systems Inc.,
Vellum Solids from Ashlar Inc., and Bravo 7.0 from Applicon Inc.

Spatial has nearly 1,000,000 users of ACIS-enabled applications,
such as AutoCAD and Mechanical Desktop (Autodesk, Inc.), Bravo
(Applicon, Inc.), CADKEY (Baystate Technologies, Inc.),
ElectricImage 3D Modeler (Electric Image Inc.), IronCAD
(Visionary Design Systems, Inc.), and TurboCAD Solid Modeler v.
2.0 (IMSI).

There are more than 150 ACIS-enabled applications that support
the ACIS SAT file format, including applications such as TRIBON
4 by Kockums Computer Systems in the ship building industry,
Grade/CUBE II by Hitachi Zosen Information Systems for mold and
die making, and MegaCAD by Megatech and ARGOS by Vertex System
OY in the AEC marketplace.
