Fujitsu Tapes Out
Fujitsu taped out its unannounced 3D chip on 9 April. It has
1.6 million gate equivalents which equates to 11.97 million
transistors on a die 12.8mm on a side. The part will go into a
432 pin BGA package. The production version will sell for less
than $40. First silicon is expected back by May.
