Pre-Orders of Microsoft Windows 98 Available Now at
www.Chumbo.com

Chumbo today announced that consumers can pre-order
Microsoft Windows 98 now on their Website, www.chumbo.com.
Chumbo is the first company to offer Microsoft Windows 98 to
customers. Due for release in Q2 1998, Windows 98 can be
purchased for $179.99 for the full version or $94.99 for the
Upgrade from the site.

Chumbo currently plans on shipping Windows 98 24 hours
before the retail launch, enabling customers to receive the
product the day it is launched without waiting in line. As
with all pre-order software titles from the Chumbo site,
customers' credit cards will not reflect the purchase until
the product is shipped.

Chumbo Corporation is a privately held Internet commerce
company. Chumbo provides a channel of distribution for
Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), an optional
distribution method for OEMs and is a 24-hour resource for
users and IS managers to purchase software and DVDs.
