3Dfx Interactive, Inc. Announces a Public Stock
Offering
(February 12)
3Dfx Interactive, Inc. announced that it filed a
registration statement with the Securities and
Exchange Commission relating to a proposed firmly
underwritten public offering of 2,900,000 shares of
Common Stock, of which 2,000,000 shares will be
offered by the Company and approximately 900,000
shares will be offered by selling shareholders. The
Company will not receive any of the proceeds from the
sale of shares by the selling shareholders. The
Company has also granted the Underwriters an option
to purchase an additional 435,000 shares to cover
over-allotments, if any.
An underwriting group managed by BancAmerica
Robertson Stephens, NationsBanc Montgomery Securities
LLC, and UBS Securities LLC will offer the shares. A

SensAble Technologies Announces Completion of $7
Million Financing Round
(February 5)
SensAble Technologies, Inc. announced that it has
capped a $7 million second round of financing.
Investors include four venture capital firms and
several private individuals. Acer Capital America,
Advent International, Claflin Capital Management, and
the Kaufman Fund all participated in the latest
round, as did a number of individuals, including Dan
Schwinn, founder and former CEO of Shiva Corporation,
Bob Coleman, former CEO of MediSense Corporation and
Jon Hirshtick, founder and President of SolidWorks
Corporation.
