MetaCreations Announces Project Code ‘SHOW’

MetaCreations Corporation announced that Project Code
"SHOW," a new home photo and business presentation
software player, will soon be available. "SHOW" will
give creative home consumers, small office/home
office and corporate professionals the ability to
easily and quickly create multimedia photo shows and
enhance existing presentations. "SHOW" will
complement Kai's Power GOO, Kai's Photo SOAP and ART
Dabbler, MetaCreations' award-winning trilogy of
consumer digital imaging products, and is expected to
be available in the Spring of 1998 for an average
retail price of $49.95.

"SHOW" will offer consumers a simple way to create a
photo show or enhance a business presentation by
importing and organizing digital media and then
sharing the completed show with family, friends or
business associates via computer display, projector,
stand- alone player, printer or videotape.

Art-o-matic has Business Application of 3D Technology

Art-o-matic, a program, which creates 2D clip art
images from 3D models, was shipped by 3Dize in
December 1997. Art-o-matic is very similar in many
ways to the LiveArt program announced by Viewpoint
Datalabs, Orem, Utah. Art-o-matic has features which
are claimed not available in LiveArt. The retail
version of Art-o-matic sells for $79.95.

3Dize Today 3Dize shipped version 1.1 of Art-O-Matic,
which adds the ability to import 3D Studio (.3DS)
files. Also, Art-O-Matic now supports 3D models with
thousands of polygons. Art-O-Matic now imports the
thousands of free 3D Studio and DirectX format 3D
models available for free download on the Internet.
